Had a glorious day at Cucamonga Peak. Definitely chilly to start but warmed up quickly. The trail was in great condition – a couple patches of ice that were no problem. Really enjoyed this hike and already looking forward to going back. Glad we were able to get this in before the real snow!

Hi, did you do this hike today (11/9)? I’m planning on doing this hike on Saturday but afraid it might be too icy from the snowfall on Tuesday. Thanks, I’d appreciate the info!
No, we did 11/6. I’m not too experienced but I’d be worried about going up now after all the precipitation earlier this week. There might be areas of the trail that are obscured or difficult to pass now. You may want to try calling the ranger station to see if they can give you any advice? Good luck!
