This hike was fairly challenging as there were parts of the mountain that were steep. I was in the back with some younger scouts since they were struggling. Going at a slower pace made it harder for me as my normal pace would've been a lot faster. Our troop got up at the top at about 12 to 1 pm, however, my group got up a 3 pm. As we were going up, we saw our troop coming down. At one point while we were coming down, I was a bit further ahead than my group because going slow made it harder for me. On the way I saw a snake, I had thought that it was the skin of a snake. I found out, however, that it was a rattlesnake. I backed away and went to the side as it was also a trail leading to the same path.
