I started the hike very early in the morning, trying to get ahead of the heat. It wasn’t the easiest hike—pretty much a steady climb all the way up. The beginning was manageable, but as I went higher, parts of the trail got a bit tricky. I took it slow and eventually made it to the top. The view was incredible, especially with the sunrise lighting up the Inland Empire. It’s easily one of the best sights around.
