Started at 6:30am and parking lot was filling up. Patches of snow visible near the saddle. Once past saddle, depending on what side of the hill you were on, there were ice and snow covering the trail. ice and snow started to get worse around 7800′ and really bad at 8200′ and up to peak. I wouldn't recommend doing this now without cramp-ons but that's always a person choice. Several people turned around when the trail got to bad. Lots and lots of people on the trail today, more then I have ever seen before. Two large groups of at least 20 people and pasted another 50-60 on the way down.
