Cucamonga for the third time – it is a great break-in for more challenging peaks. There were dozens of hikers in Icehouse, but the pack thinned out past the saddle. Beautiful day!

Cucu got some cool new signage! Last time I was there was in my 2017 first 6 Pack! Was almost 100 summer degree days! Those days you had to cobble together permits and I met a friend to this day!
This year I am playing tour guide for my friend who did the San Diego 6 Pack last year but wanted to do the “big ones” the original ones. Cucu and Sitton are left. She wanted to do Baldy but pulled her hamatring coming down Bernardino.
Is trail in good condition? Treefalls, etc? Haven’t been there but the once! So cool doing this with your kids!
