So happy to summit Cucamonga Peak! Started off a little sluggish on the trail. Not sure if it was due to the 4am wake up call. But after meeting Elvis the mischievous golden retriever who tried to steal our snacks, I was revived???? It's a bit windy on top so wear something warm.
This trail is one of the most picturesque I’ve hiked and the cloud cover over LA was just gorgeous! ⛅️ ⛰✨ 12.6 miles, and over 8 hours on the mountain felt like we were on top of the world!

Thank you!!
Wow it’s always so beautiful to go up on a low cloud day, it feels like we’re flying above high! Nice pictures
Absolutely! And there was no one there which makes it even more magical✨
Thank you!
Did you put on MicroSpikes for the snow?
Also, were you able to see over to Ontario Peak, and if so, was there much snow in that direction?
Didn’t need microspikes but brought them just in case. Didn’t get to see Ontario Peak but hiked it two weeks ago and there was so much snow. Had to use my crampons. Not sure what the condition is now.
That’s awesome! Good to hear there’s not a lot of snow. Going to be doing this one next week now.
