I just love this hike!  This is actually my 3rd time I’m 2023 to hike this peak.. note you have plenty of water along the way with amazing pools of water, small water falls with old cabins and free standing chimneys.  As you approach the saddle it opens up to amazing views as fast as the eye can see.  You can also see the cajon pass in the distance.  This is a pretty strenuous hike to get to the peak but there are many amazing views along the way that take your breath away and get your mind off the strain of the hike.  This is one of my favorite hikes and I think I will continue on this hike for many years it’s just that nice
