Started early. Cold and windy in Icehouse Canyon and past the saddle. Glad I was bundled and had gloves. Intermittent ice/snow on the last 2.5 miles were slippery, but not worth the time and effort of crampons or spikes. By the time I made the peak it was hot (even on top) and descended in shorts. I’m originally from Alaska. The ability to hike and climb like this in the middle of winter still blows my mind!
