On April 7th we hit up Cuyumaca Peak. There was a cool breeze most the day, but the sun was shining bright. We were surprised there was still so much snow on the trail as we neared the top. Getting to the actual summit required some searching. The view once we got there was beautiful. There wasn’t many people out on the trail that day, but the campground seemed fairly busy. This is a nice shorter hike with a splendid view from the top.
