Beautiful trail on a beautiful day.  We started our trip on the Azalea Glen Loop Trail, connected to Conejos Trail, then came back down on the Lookout Fire Road.  On the way up, we found that all of the snowmelt turned about a half mile of Conejos Trail into a running stream! It was fun, but we were nervous about disturbing the fragile crust.  We were able to use the rocks in the middle of the trail to avoid impact the trail surface too greatly.  Temps were perfect, allowing us to hike in a base layer and a light outer layer.  Finished in just over 3 hours – highly recommend this for gorgeous conifers, stunning views, and a decent incline!
