Started before sunrise and was up 2 miles before the first light broke through the sky. The morning was cold. A mile from summit altitude sickness hit with dizziness and fatigue. I stopped for 30 min and decided to continue on once I felt better. I made it to the summit just as the clouds started to rush in and the temperature dropped another 10 degrees. I found my hiking partner a few yards away from the top and decided to go back up with her. We quickly documented our summit and started the trail back down. We ended up hiking the last 3 miles in the dark again. It was a long, but beautiful day.
