Summer in January! What a beautiful day..primarily in the 80's! not gonna lie, we should've started earlier…but we didn't…hit the trail around 9:30..at the peak at 11:15ish-11:30. I had a hip replacement in June 2020…and was testing it out!! The last 1/4 mile wasn't easy for me..as I still don't have the same amount of rotation on the new hip, but I made it work! I'm a trail runner – yep…i'm getting back at it…that was my goal with the new hip. Bagging these peaks is a great way to rehab and do something outdoors with my husband. Thanks for the challenge Jeff…I'll see you when you are back in SoCal…we're looking forward to our next peak…and I did run some on the trail 😉
