I titled my log December Double because I also hiked Baldy Bowl today. This was my first time on Mt Wilson and won't be my last. I thought nothing of finishing Mt Wilson besides the fact that it was OG six. I was surprised by the beauty of the canyons leading up the observatory. I probably lucked out on the perfect cool weather as well. I ran into a 4 pack of deer just after Orchard Camp. There were a ton of people on the trail, most of them were hiking up as I was descending. I plan to take my family on this hike sometime in the future.
