Like the title said, Mt Baldy via Baldy Bowl was my 2nd hike of the day. Knocked both Mt Wilson and Mt Baldy out on 12/3/2023. This was also my 1st time on Mt Baldy and chose Baldy Bowl ascent because it was shortest though most vertical according to my research. The weather was perfect, cool and refreshing but not too cold except with the wind near and especially at the peak. I started late at 1pm sharp and finished in the dark with a headlamp at 623pm. Prior to the hike I watched a couple YT vids and DLd the hike on AllTrails. I started the same time as a couple and their dog. We kind of hiked together for a bit just because we were moving about the same pace. They gave me a tip on where to take break after the old green ski building like halfway up ish since they had hiked Baldy multiple times before. Their little dog knew the trail very well and led the climb. I was surprised on how many dogs actually summited, around 10.
