Beautiful hike! I like to do a summit on my birthday (done Shasta, Whitney, Etc). This year I decided to do a local one since I couldn’t take much time off work. Also kickstarted my 6 Pack of Peaks challenge! Did it with my 2 yr old Border Collie, Ansel, who I happen to share a birthday with. So it was a double birthday hike!
Beautiful hike, not very crowded this particular Monday. A bit of snow a bit before the summit, but manageable. I had micro spikes but didn’t see the need to use them.
