Mt. Diablo 15.2 mile hike via Twin Peaks, Eagle Peak, and North Peak.Trail conditions were very good, but muddy in places — especially in lower areas at the start of Mitchell Rock Trail — after recent rains. Foggy for first 2.5 hours of ascent. Then incredible views of snow-capped Sierras and Santa Cruz mountains from North Peak and Diablo. Very little wind. Comfortable hiking temp. Steep ascent to North Peak. Descent via Deer Flat Rd and Mitchell Canyon Rd. Group: South Bay Hiking Meetup.
