Walk from the Icehouse parking lot to start the trail. We decided to do a double peak day. We proceeded to summit Cucamonga Peak first. Was a hard hike. We took a snack break at the icehouse saddle which is about 3.6 miles from starting point. We spent about 30 minutes there and then took off to ascend Cucamonga peak, it is at 8859 ft elevation. Elevation gained 4150 ft. We descended back to the Icehouse Saddle and we took Ontario trail from there. The total hike was 19 miles. By the time we return from Ontario peak to the icehouse Saddle was dark. We got confused by the map directions and was dark. In darkness  you see things differently from when you started with sunlight. We walked back and forward about mile and then figured we were on the right trail. Dah ?. What a hike?
