I got a very early start for this hike to avoid the crowds and the heat. I was up at the top before 0900h and done by 1130h. I have been up here a couple times and it never ceases to amaze me. Baden-Powell is my favorite peak to climb in Southern California. Just enough of a hike to make you feel like you have done something but not a major ordeal to climb either and the views are always great.
