First time hiking up Mt Bachelor, looks very different from ski season. The latter half of the trail is more challenging – steep trail, loose lava rock, and some boulders to go over. After the rain yesterday, the skies were more clear today and no smell of smoke in the air. We even saw one person hiking up with their skis, and he skied down what was left of the snow at the top of the mt – crazy!
