Set out a little after 7am…2 hrs. 20 min. up and 2 hrs. 40 min. down. Quads hurt more coming down than up. Do this one TWICE (which some hikers were in sandals that day) and you will have summited the likes of Mt. Whitney. I appreciate the check points along the way, and the rangers were out in force staging water for those not prepared. Great hike!
