Beautiful hike with gradual uphill to a butt kicking narrow and steep last .4 mile. Lots of wildflowers. Start early to avoid heat and BUGS. Did I say bugs, because there were loads of them in the flat river walk (about 1 mile) – made it hard to enjoy that part of hike.
