I came out here on a Wednesday (April 11th) in the mid afternoon when the temperatures in the Valley were in the 80s and at the start of the hike it was in the 70s. The conditions of the trail was well kept with some bugs but not much. When I started there were a few groups leaving and I passed 3 people on the way up. At the mountain top there was haze so you could not see downtown LA or the neighborhoods that lead up to it clearly but you could see Palos Verdes, Catalina Island, Mount Baldy (Snow Top) & Mount Baden Powell (Snow Top). At the top of the mountain I seen one person in which they came via the Colby Trail. Afterwards trekked down with ease and safely logging in a total time of 2 hour & 15 minutes. I would suggest to get out here durning the week so you can fully enjoy this mountain while you can since a lot of the other local mountains are either closed or snow capped.
