My first big hike in Arizona!  And my first Meet-Up with the Hiking, Biking, & Socials for Over 40 Group!!!

It was so beautiful, a cool morning..  Lots of people, so ended up parking at and strolling through the nearby Omni Resort – which was lovely.  Got to the group late – so was actually grateful to make the climb on my own, at my own speed.  I was greeted at the top by a large, smiling, welcoming group – with the kindest group leader- Jen.  Made me feel welcome, like I belonged, from the minute I walked up.

So grateful for this challenge – to meet people in my new home town, for companions to help me on the long climb back from chemo for lymphoma.
