We started from the Redbox Canyon trailhead at around 7:30AM. The clouds were looming overhead announcing the arrival of the tropical storm the next day. The atmosphere was very eerie but the it was also a very cool feeling at the same time. The weather also was nice and cool as opposed to the past weekends. The trail was pretty mellow until we got to the last mile and a half up to the summit, which included some pretty steep rock scrambles. We got to the peak just past 9AM. During the last scramble as well as the summit, we were starting to feel the high speed wind. After a short snack break at the summit, we made our way down and got back to the trailhead just past 11AM.
