Hike started out ok. Partly cloudy, a little chilly and a light breeze. As I approached the Stop sign telling us that we've reached the half way point, it started to get foggy and then started to drizzle. From there, heading up the peak, it started to rain a little harder and had hail falling as well. By the time I reached the summit, the rain had stopped again, but there was no visibility from up above. After eating some snacks, I started heading down and most of the top part of the trail was muddy and slippery. The clouds were starting to open and gave way to some beautiful views of the valley. I love seeing the hills so green and full of life. This trail was everything I had heard, lol. It was a tough one. It seemed eternal to me because I was hiking alone and forgot my headphones as well. Still, a good hike with beautiful views. When I head back to this trail, I will definitely take company, lol.
