Really enjoyed this hike. Being in SD county, it actually exceeded my expectation because it was higher and harder than the normal around SD. Started getting windy mid way through. Only saw a couple people though the hike- all were women which was cool. Got to the top, hung out for 10 mins, and took a selfie with the half fallen off post. Coming back down, the old rusted car structure seemed a lot faster to pass than going up. Felt like I got down pretty fast. As I arrived back, the Mercedes and Tesla care parked next to me had shattered glass- someone trying to break in. My car was salvaged thank goodness. But as it was closer to a highway but also walking distance from lakeside area, easy for many non hikers to come in and also they know you will be away for about 7 hours +/-. I felt really bad for them, and just constantly reminds me to not leave valuables anywhere. Was cool weather so my dog ran through it. Since I'm so close this is definitely a mountain I would do more often.
