What a beautiful day and a beautiful hike. We started in cloudy sky’s and a light drizzle. Ended with clear sky’s and beautiful views. You can see the ocean, Coronado islands, San Diego skyline and Point Loma! This hike truly is uphill both ways. It’s a little defeating when you lose all of the hard earned elevation halfway through. Then have to re climb it all knowing that you have to climb back up to get back. I still loved this hike and I want to do it again and grab El Cap Peak while I’m at it. There is a little junction that splits the two peaks. This is a Must do hike in San Diego.
