For the last peak of the San Diego Challenge, we decided for a sunset hike. Started around 1300ish with the temperature at mid 70s F with clear blue skies. At mile 3 by the information board we took a long break in the hope that my wife's queezy stomach will calm down…and it did! A quick nap surely does come a long way! We then resumed in a slower but steady pace. We finished the hike by night time. The evening's cool (chilly at times) breeze & the display of fireworks at Sea World were a welcome treat. Saw various wildflowers. Also saw a couple of paragliders & hang gliders passed by overhead which made me think of a new adventure 🙂 By the way, thank you to good samaritans who brought & placed jugs of water at mile 3 for anyone who might be needing it.
