Don't let the name fool you, Strawberry Peak isn't as sweet as it sounds. The elevation gain doesn't mean much either, especially when it's a constant uphill battle through thorny bushes the last leg of the trail.
My group and I started out at around 11:40ish, and ended roughly around 4:40ish.
The majority of this trail is on the side of the mountain, with great views of the surrounding mountains and the valley below. It is pretty surreal if you haven't hiked a trail like this previously. A lot of the trail is surrounded by thick, thorn bushes and pokey desert plants, but it didn't bother me too much (I wore shorts, of course).
The end was nothing but steep uphill and some short rock scrambling, but it definitely took a lot of effort to get to the top!
The top has some great views and for once in a great while, I felt like I accomplished something!

One thing I meant to say was that, although Sitton Peak had more “elevation gain” overall, Strawberry Peak was in my opinion, much more challenging.
