There was very little wind which was a bonus. The trails were slippery and sketchy specially after the devils backbone. The ice and snow were melting, making it extremely difficult to go at a faster rate. You definitely need microspikes, or crampons. I felt that it was never ending and long so on the way down, we took the Manker flats route. It was steep downhill decline with very slippery melted snow. If you don’t have the right gear, an accident is very easy to happen. Good luck, I’m glad I’m finished with this trail!
