This was a great hike to take the whole family.  Our kids have hiked Mt. Konocti with us and we thought they could do this one as well.  We made it to the top with only a bit of complaining.  I was excited to see the view because last year we could not see the valley below because of the cloud cover.  The first mile of the hike is the funnest as it is a trail with some rock scrambling.  After that the rest of the hike is a dirt road.  However the view more than makes up for it.  We could see the coast as well as other mountains we have peaked – Mt. Tam and Berryessa Peak.  I am so glad we got out to enjoy this warm sunny February day!
