Beautiful hike at Bill Williams Mountain! This was a gradual incline for the first 2.5 miles before feeling more of the elevation the rest of the way to the top. I enjoyed small plots of snow and ice while taking in the beautiful trees and sweet smelling pine cones, playful bluejays, squirrels dropping nuts, and wild mushrooms. My hiking buddy and I were informed by the park ranger that a mountain lion was spotted near a parking lot towards the top of Bill Williams when we began heading back to the trailhead, but we never saw it. Overall, I enjoyed this hike and would highly recommend.
