Me and my son Chris took a late start on our hike.  The first very steep 2.5 miles on Marion Mountain Trail was brutal.  The temperature got cooler above 8,000′ elevation.  The view on the summit was spectacular.  The weather on the summit was comfortable with no wind.  It was a great time and blessing hiking up Mount San Jacinto with my son Chris.
