By far my favorite hike! Got to the tram early in the morning and caught the first tram (8am) up to the mountain. Once at the top, we walked down to the rangers station. Here we filled out a permit before heading to the hike. This is extremely important to fill out. It will help rangers know if anyone who went up and hasn’t come down, and needs to be looked for.
We also stayed and listened to the Ranger talk about the trail and gave us helpful tips. Started our hike at 8:15 am and summited at 12:14pm. The weather was beautiful definitely the best way to get out of the heatwave. Trail was well kept for the most part there were certain spots where it was hard to see the actual trail but over all great. Not so steep and beautiful scenery through out.
