The hike was a busy all the way up in both directions. Loved meeting all the happy (sometimes exhausted hikers particularly the C2C who were on miles 15++. The top was very busy when we were there and we didn’t take a photo with the mountain sign at the summit but did enjoy our picnic lunch on the scramble rocks a few steps from the incredible view. Skipping along merrily on the way down I lost my footing when my knapsack shifted and I land face down into a pointed rock. Luckily I ended up with mere superficial wounds on my head (bump and blood), hip, knee, pinky finger and a little bit of a bruise ego! Stopped on the way home and got measured for a better fitting pack. I’m feeling grateful for the adventure and looking forward to our next hike.
