Wednesday 9/20 – Day 4 of 6, hike 4 of 6.

Parking lot requires a $2 fee and they requested that you fill out information on the envelope.  I usually have pens in the car, but the rental did not have.

I Took the trespass trail up.  This is pretty steep and most of the hike is spent in a wash, so a mix of rocks and some sand. The trail was fairly overgrown with some prickly plants.  Was glad to be wearing pants.

I took the Gaviota Peak trail down and this is a fire road.  It was much easier than the trespass trail. The All Trails map I was using had me leave the trail and head towards the hot springs. Skip this and stay on the fire road.  The hot springs trail is muddy and very overgrown.
