It may not have been ideal weather conditions (mostly cloudy) but I had my heart set on hiking today. I was hiking at a slow-moderate tempo and the loop took me 3 hours. Some of the large stone slabs were wet and a bit slippery. I would definitely rate the hike difficult, even though it is overall a shorter hike. I also agree with someone else who wrote in a recent post: some of the yellow markers are a bit worn and a few times hard to find. You will not get lost but a bit of a paint refresher would take the ~at times~ worrisome guesswork out of the hike.
Overall, a great experience and an exciting start to the challenge!
