Started early in the day while it was still cool. Did the mountaineers route instead of the traditional trail. The two scrambles were not that difficult… relatively straightforward. You pretty much gain all of the elevation in the first 3.5 miles. The remaining 8.5 miles are predominantly downhill.
Part of Colby Canyon trail (just north of Josephine Saddle) was pretty washed out.
There were a few meadows on the way down from the peak that were quite nice; however, the trail was starting to get pretty overgrown.
