Embarked on a well-maintained trail around 9 AM; encountered occasional mucky spots but traversed generally easy terrain (excluding the last bit to the top). The 5-hour hike included a brief pause at the summit for photos and snacks. Willow, our trusted trail companion, had a delightful encounter with another German Shorthaired Pointer. The air was chilly and crisp and there was moss all over, enhancing the overall experience.
