Started in the dark at 0630….first one on the trail and first to summit for the new year!! The trail was great up until the last 1/4 mile …then it was a bit muddy, slippery and deep ruts in places. No problem goin up but used poles to not slip on the way down. Definitely doable tho!!! Beautiful 40° at the start and 63 and partly sunny as we finished!
