Trail was in great shape and the Cosmic Cafe was open!  Best turkey sandwich and frito pie.

The trail was a little busy and we passed a lot of hikers who were completely unprpared for the hike.  Several people were summitting without any water or water bottles to fill up.

The parking lot was full by 0615 and we had to park about .75 miles down the road.  Get there as early as possible, but there's plenty of parking options down the road if you don't make it into the lot.

Coming back to Chantry Flats after the hike was a little crazy.  Its funny to feel like you're on your own on a hike and then walk right back into a crowded family space.  Made it rather entertaining.

My favorite sign on the way down has been defaced, hopefully they clean it soon!  “May your search through nature…. lead you to yourself”
