First time hiked in snow,  very hard for  me especially the trail is  not visible after 1-1 1/2 mile up.  I just followed the trail that previous hiker left foot prints which are straight up hill instead of thr original zigzag trail. This made it more harder to summit due straight incline trail in snow.   A real. Work out.  I must admit it was fun and at the same time scary.  Mirco spike N crampons are a must.  Again from 1-1 1/-2 mile up the snow is think and sleepery at times, where they are powdery  the snow os as deep up to the knee high.   I finally, conquer my fear of hiking in the snow.
