I started the hike around 7:55 AM. There were a lot of hikers out today. The weather was clear and not so hot. I made to the summit at around 11:05 and went to the different viewpoints. In addition to Flatiron itself, I also explored the other viewpoints including the memorial to a plane crash of 2011. I also walked a little into the trail leading further east into the Superstitions but started heading down around 1:00 PM. The climb down was slow, not just because of the need to be careful in heading down but also due to the number of hikers out that day both going up and going down. I got back to my car around 5:20 PM.  With Flatiron, I have completed the Challenge, although I plan on hiking the three other peaks part of this challenge as extras.
