We had to wait until 6am, on the DOT! The guard did not let us in 10mins early. The weather was perfect we started with sweaters, it was windy.  The trail was clean, always stay towards the left area, at the beginning. We scramble the whole time, you need good solid shoes with GREAT grip, don't skip on that!!!! The middle is extremely slippery!!!!! So be careful. It took up 2.5 hours to the top. We ate our snacks and took beautiful pictures. Once we started our way down it was nice, the sun started to cover us, some had cooling towels but it was a cool 77 degrees at 11am, gorgeous. I finished 45oz of water. Bring plenty of water and electrolytes.
