Day started off not too bad, but we knew it was likely to rain or be overcast. We didn't know that 1/2 way up it would foggy and misty. A LOT of cows along that path and A LOT of cow poop, but overall it wasn't a bad hike. Once we arrived at the top, it was very cold, windy and very little visibility, so we had a very quick bite, then headed down.
Fortunately it was a cool day so didn't need to top up on water which was fortunately as one of the main wells was dry, so campers had to hike back to the main entrance for water…
Nice to end the Six Peaks challenge with this hike.
