Met my friend at 6:30am and it was very misty and wet so we were a big concerned about how the hike we had planned to Strawberry Peak would go, but we decided to forge on. Fortunately, as we drove up the mountain the sky began to clear and we even had a little sunshine.
It was a really lovely hike in cool weather with some fog here and there along the way. About the last third of the way it starts to get a bit steep and scrambly but very doable.
Perfect day to go as we mostly had the trail to ourselves.
