This was a spare of the moment decision to accomplish hiking up to Mount Umunhum. We started about 8:30 am with space still available to park at the trail head, which was probably due to the cold weather and chance of rain early afternoon. Our goal was to summit and complete our hike before 2pm expected rain fall. This hike took us about 2 hours going up with occasional stops to see the rusted VW Bugs and take in the views as we ascend to the peak. This is a nice hike and I would probably recommend going on a clear skies day to enjoy the peak and views. There's a nice area at the summit past the cube to enjoy a snack and views. I'd definitely would recommend this hike and I would do it again.
