Yesterday, we embarked on an adventure to San Gabriel Mountains and conquered Mt. Baldy! We began our journey under the light of the full moon and relished amazing sunrise on the way to the Ski Hut. After a quick recharge there, we tackled the demanding but rewarding climb to the summit, where the breathtaking views left us in awe. Three of our group members celebrated their first Baldy victory. Our descent through the Devil's Backbone was pleasant especially after the 1st steep section which is all loose gravel and requires careful footing. Weather could not have been better,  warm but enough wind to make it comfortable.  We even saw some goats galloping the summit. Finally, we capped off our adventure with a cold drink at the Notch. On the way home we planned next adventure or “torture” as the guys call it.
