The trail was pretty clear, few areas with brush growing into trail. The last few miles of the trail there were areas where it was hard to recognize where the trail was especially when coming down. All in all it was a good challenge. I took entirely too much water as there were multiple areas for refills. It's summer so it was a tad warm. We started around 6am so it wasn't bad on the way up, but on the way down the sun was smiling down. The summit was beautiful, and I would definitely do again. Make sure you get your hiking permit. The only campsites were on trail vivian creek, mid camp and high camp. Yucaipa has campsites, but it's 22 miles away from the trailhead.
