Went solo to watch a sunset. I only met total of four hikers on my way up while on their way down. Nice trail but the last part with a scramble right before the peak was quiet tough. The sunset was glorious although having lots of clouds. I had the whole mountain to myself. Coming down the scramble was harder. Good thing I made it before it was completely dark. Hiking 5 miles back down the mountain in the dark by myself was a real challenge! Good thing I have a good torch. Many beautiful stars on a moonless night. It drizzled a little bet. Quiet spooky but I just listened to worship songs on one ear and still be attentive on the other. Made it back to trailhead at around 9pm. Whew, what an experience!
